Mount Pleasant, SC – The Lincoln Memorial University Women's Golf team returns to action February 23–24 at the LR/Dunes West Intercollegiate, hosted by Lenoir-Rhyne University at Dunes West Golf Club.
LMU enters the week ranked No. 25 nationally in the latest Scoreboard NCAA Division II Women's Rankings, carrying momentum from a strong showing at the Battle at Hilton Head. The Railsplitters finished fourth in a competitive 19-team field, posting a three-round total of 907 (+43). Dilyara Bulambayeva paced LMU with a tie for fourth individually at 222 (+6), while the team led the entire field with 33 birdies and ranked among the top teams in par-4 scoring.
The field at Dunes West will once again test the Railsplitters against quality regional competition. No. 6 University of North Georgia highlights the tournament as the highest-ranked team in the field, while No. 18 Erskine College and host Lenoir-Rhyne University (No. 33) add additional depth. Other South Atlantic Conference programs, including Catawba College and Tusculum University, are also set to compete, along with a mix of regional contenders such as Columbus State University, Belmont Abbey College, and Coker University.
With confidence building after a top-four finish to open the spring, LMU will look to continue its steady play and climb the national rankings against another competitive Division II field on the South Carolina coast.
