HICKORY, NC - Lincoln Memorial softball continued South Atlantic Conference play Saturday with a road doubleheader at Lenoir-Rhyne, falling 9-6 in the opener before dropping the second game 11-0 in five innings.
The Railsplitters went toe-to-toe with the Bears in game one, generating six runs on six hits and getting a pair of big swings from the middle of the lineup. Kristin Griffin delivered the biggest knock of the afternoon with a three-run home run, and Jordann Reagan added a solo shot to help keep LMU within striking distance throughout the opener. In the circle, Katie Fultz provided a steady outing in relief, working 4.0 innings and allowing just one run while striking out two.
