NORMAN, OK – Lincoln Memorial University men's golf climbed two spots to No. 15 in the latest Bushnell/Golfweek Division II Coaches Poll released April 17, continuing its rise ahead of the South Atlantic Conference Championship (April 19–21). The Railsplitters earned 224 points after being ranked No. 13 in the previous poll, remaining firmly in the national picture as postseason play begins.
LMU's positioning is backed by a strong spring stretch that has included three top-three finishes against nationally ranked fields. The Railsplitters were runner-up at the Las Vegas Desert Classic (March 1–3), placed third at the First Federal Southeastern Collegiate (March 9–10), and took second while hosting the Tennessee River Rumble (March 23–24). Most recently, LMU closed the regular-season slate with a ninth-place finish at the Argonaut Invitational (March 30–31) against a loaded 15-team field.
In the national poll, West Florida remained No. 1 for the third straight release after winning four of its five spring tournaments entering the conference championship stretch. The Argonauts earned all 20 first-place votes and 500 points. Florida Southern, Lee, Grand Valley State, and Wingate rounded out the top five, while Georgia Southwestern, Central Oklahoma, Catawba, St. Mary's (TX), and Columbus State completed the top 10.
The final Bushnell/Golfweek Division II Coaches Poll of the 2025–26 season is scheduled to be released May 8.
