WILLIAMSBURG, Ky. - The LMU women's tennis team improved to 3-0 the season with the 4-3 rain-shortened victory over the University of the Cumberlands Tuesday afternoon.

LMU won one of the three doubles flights as Julia Loos (Frankfurt, Germany) and Johanna Delisse (Oss, The Netherlands) defeated Maria Ochoa and Marian Bogajo 8-0 at No. 2.

In singles, Pinol defeated Jaclyn Jewell 6-2, 6-0 at No. 2 while Loos picked up the 6-0, 6-2 win over Ochoa at No. 3. LMU's Roksolana Prudyvus (Lviv, Ukraine) won over Denee Lyttle 6-4, 6-1 at No. 4. Angelica Solano (Bogotá, Colombia) was leading Hannag Wampler 6-3, 4-3 at No. 6 and Javiera Gonzalez (Santiago, Chile) was up a set over Luka Lyttle 6-4, 3-5 at No. 5 when rain halted the match.

LMU will host Union College Thursday at 2 p.m. in the LMU Tennis Complex.
