HARROGATE, Tenn. – Fresh off a sweep at South Atlantic Conference rival Lenoir-Rhyne, the Railsplitters (12-12, 6-3 SAC) open an eight-game home stand Wednesday afternoon against the Bloomsburg Huskies (9-6, 0-0 PSAC). Lincoln Memorial's weekend sweep put the team at .500 for the first time all season. Bloomsburg spent the weekend winning two of three matchups at Brevard.

Seth Hunt (Knoxville, Tenn.) went 3-for-5 in Friday night's series opener, and
Logan Augustine (Urbandale, Iowa) scored three runs as Lincoln Memorial took advantage of six Lenoir-Rhyne errors to come from behind to beat the Bears 7-4 and hand back-to-back reigning NCBWA NCAA Division II Southeast Region Pitcher of the Week Thomas St. Clair his first loss of the season.
Brandon Jean (Franklin, Tenn.) improved to 2-3 on the year, striking out seven in a season-high 6.1 innings.
Dominic Morabito (Vienna, Va.) worked a scoreless ninth for his first save of the season.
- Hunt went 6-for-6 in the team's 17-10 win in game one of Saturday's doubleheader to set a new LMU record for hits in a game.
Mason Ewers (Kingsport, Tenn.),
Eric Kalman (Brooklyn, N.Y.) and
Tyler Adams (Woodstock, Ga.) added three more hits each as the Railsplitters uncorked 20 total. Adams also launched a three-run homer as part of a five-RBI afternoon, while
Muta Crusoe (Bellwood, Ill.) also connected on a solo home run.
- One day after working a scoreless ninth to pick up the save, Morabito pitched seven more innings to earn his first career win as a starter in the team's 8-3 win. The redshirt junior allowed three runs (two earned) over seven innings with eight strikeouts. Lincoln Memorial jumped ahead 6-0 in the first two innings behind four more Lenoir-Rhyne errors. Augustine went 3-for-5, while Ewers went 2-for-5 with a pair of RBI singles.
- Hunt's record-setting game at the plate was part of a 14-for-22 (.636 AVG) effort in five games over the past week. After hitting just .118 through his first eight games with a plate appearance, Hunt has more than tripled that average to a team-best .400 over his past eight games. He also owns a .538 (16-for-26) mark in South Atlantic Conference games.
- The Railsplitters used a 13-run fifth inning to take the first game of Wednesday's doubleheader at Bellarmine to propel the team to a 16-10 victory. The team batted around twice in the inning and had 10 consecutive batters safely reach base at one point.
Russell Clark (Wexford, Pa.) had a pair of RBI hits and drove in three total runs in the inning, while Augustine scored twice in three plate appearances.
- Bellarmine scored two runs in the bottom of the seventh inning in game two for the 6-5 walk-off victory. Wages (Molin, Ill.) and Hunt combined for five of Lincoln Memorial's six hits in the game.
Dalton Dedas (Louisville, Ky.) laced a two-run single for the team's only other hit.
- Augustine went 6-for-18 with six walks and 10 runs scored for the week. His 33 runs scored lead the team by a wide margin and are the second-best total in the SAC. His six home runs also lead the team and are already a career high. Augustine has also recorded the most hits (31) and walks (21) and has reached base safely at least once in all 24 games.
- Wages had a quiet weekend at the plate, going just 1-for-12, and saw his 16-game on-base streak snapped Friday. He was hit by a pitch for the 14
th time Saturday, which leads the entire NCAA across all levels. His .510 on-base percentage leads the team and is the fifth-best mark in the SAC.
- Ewers got back on track at the plate with a 5-for-14 weekend. He began the season with a scorching .423 start through the team's first 14 games but cooled down considerably, going just 3-for-27 over the next eight games. He led the team in average, hits, RBI and stolen bases through those first 14 games but has since been tied or surpassed in each category.
- Lincoln Memorial scored in the first inning once in the Bellarmine doubleheader and twice at Lenoir-Rhyne. Despite outscoring opponents 28-18 in the first inning thus far, the Railsplitters improved to just 5-9 in games they have scored in the first. The team has a similar 5-9 record when scoring the game's first run.

Ethan Elliott (Knoxville, Tenn.) did not make it through the fifth inning Saturday for the first time in 18 career starts. He allowed eight runs (six earned) in four-plus innings and did not receive a decision. The Bears knocked Elliott around for six hits, including four extra-base hits, and he also issued two free passes. In six starts the lefty is 2-2 with a 4.72 ERA and 32 strikeouts in 34.1 innings.
- Morabito made just his third career start on the mound for the Railsplitters Saturday against Lenoir-Rhyne and first picked up his first career win in that role. He went the distance in the seven-inning game after also picking up a save the night before. For the year, Morabito has a 3-1 record with a 2.22 ERA in 24.1 innings and 30 strikeouts across nine appearances (two starts).
Notes on the Huskies:
- Bloomburg's only three games of the week were at Brevard. The Huskies split Saturday's doubleheader, winning the first game 13-3 and dropping the second 8-5. Bloomsburg won Sunday's rubber match 7-2.
- The Huskies have yet to play a home game in Bloomsburg, Pa. at Danny Litwhiler Field. The team has played 11 neutral site games and four true road games. Bloomsburg also does not begin PSAC play until March 24.
- The midweek series at Lincoln Memorial will be just the team's second true road series of the year. Last weekend's series at Brevard was the first.
- Ryuta Amaike and Tyler Benson have been stars offensively for the Huskies. Both have reached base in all 15 games and have on-base percentages over .500. Amaike has a .448 average and has 10 multi-hit games, while Benson is batting .417 with nine multi-hit efforts.
- Amaike is on a 12-game hitting streak. He leads the team in average (.448), hits (25) and on-base percentage (.515). Amaike is also 1-0 on the mound in two appearances with a 2.61 ERA and 11 strikeouts in 10.1 innings.
- Benson is on an eight-game hitting streak of his own and leads the team in home runs (4), RBI (17), runs (22) and doubles (10). He is also tied with Austin Edgette for the lead in stolen bases with five. Fourteen of his 25 hits have gone for extra bases.
- Brett Alaimo has two saves and a 0.93 ERA with 10 strikeouts in 9.1 innings across four relief appearances. Opponents are batting just .125 off him.
- The Huskies are 0-4 when scoring fewer than six runs in a game, compared to 9-2 when scoring at least six. The team is also 8-0 when holding opponents to fewer than seven runs.

- The Railsplitters are 5-0 all-time against the Huskies. The teams played once at a neutral-site in 2006 and four games in Harrogate in 2007.
