HARROGATE, Tenn. – The LMU women's tennis team improved to 9-3 overall and 3-2 in the South Atlantic Conference with the 7-2 win over Catawba Saturday afternoon at the LMU Tennis Complex.

In doubles play, LMU went 2-1 with wins at No. 2 and No. 3. At No. 2, Johanna Delisse (Oss, The Netherlands) and Julia Loos (Frankfurt, Germany) won over Maddy Henderson and Marina Geremias 8-1 while Angelica Solano (Bogota, Colombia) and Javiera Gonzalex (Santiago, Chile) defeated Emily Corcoran and Kristin Saltus 8-1 at No. 3.

In singles, LMU won at the No. 1, 2, 4, 5 and 6 flights to earn the 7-2 win. Delisse defeated Kristen Rock 6-4, 6-2 at No. 1 and Marta Pinol (Tivenys, Spain) won over Olivia Wooldridge 6-3, 6-0 at No. 2. Roksolana Prudyvus (Lviv, Ukraine) won over Henderson 6-3, 6-4 at No. 4, Gonzalez defeated Corcoran 6-2, 6-1 at No. 5 and Solano bested Saltus 8-3 at No. 6

LMU will play at Carson-Newman in SAC action Tuesday at 1:00 pm.
