GREENEVILLE, Tenn. – The Lady Railsplitter tennis team fell to the Pioneers of Tusculum by an 8-1 margin Saturday afternoon. With the loss they drop to 5-2 on the season and 1-2 in the South Atlantic Conference.

TC won all three doubles flights by scores of 8-0, 8-3 and 8-5, respectively.

In singles, LMU's lone win was at No. 5, where Angelica Solano (Bogota, Colombia) won over Sarah Baker 8-4. The matches at Nos. 1, 2, 3 and 4 flights were all close, but LMU was unable to pick up the wins.

The tennis teams will next travel to nearby Barbourville, Kentucky for a match at Union College on Monday.
