HARTSVILLE, S.C. – The LMU women's tennis team picked up their 10th win of the season with the 8-1 South Atlantic Conference win over Coker Sunday afternoon.

The Lady Railsplitters now improve to 10-4 on the year and 4-3 in the SAC.

LMU swept the doubles flights to take a 3-0 lead. At No. 1, Priscilla Bulandres (Markham, Ontario) and Marta Pinol (Tivenys, Spain) defeated Jennifer Mezei and Jenna Gainey 8-3. The duo of Johanna Delisse (Oss, The Netherlands) and Julia Loos (Frankfort, Germany) improved to 9-3 overall and 4-2 in SAC play with their 8-6 win over Jennifer Ruetten and Julia Sorrells at No. 2 while at No. 3 Angelica Solano (Bogota, Colombia) and Javiera Gonzalez (Santiago, Chile) defeated Suzanna Mickey and Sarah Elliott 8-2.

Coker took the No. 1 singles flight while LMU won the other five to claim the 8-1 win. At No. 2, Pinol also picked up her 10th win as she improved to 10-2 and 4-2 vs. SAC competition with the 6-4, 6-2 win over Mezei. Loos coasted to the 6-0, 6-1 win over Gainey at No. 3 while Gonzalez cruised past Mickey at No. 4 6-2, 6-3. Roksolana Prudyvus (Lviv, Ukraine) won over Sorrells 6-4, 6-4 at No. 5 while at No. 6 Solano improved to 10-2 overall and 5-1 in SAC play with the 8-3 win over Elliott.

LMU hosts a pair of SAC matches this week, hosting Queens on April 4 and Newberry on April 8.
