-
Timmy Wages (Molin, Ill.) and Kalman starred offensively in the final game played at Lamar Hennon Field, an 11-8 victory, as the Railsplitters completed the sweep of Newberry. Wages blasted a two-run shot and picked up the win in relief. Kalman laced a three-run double to provide the Railsplitters with three crucial insurance runs that proved to be the difference. Each player drove in four runs apiece.
-
Logan Augustine (Urbandale, Iowa) has been scorching hot during his seven-game hit streak, batting .464 with 10 RBI and 11 runs scored. The junior's 60 runs scored for the season ranks first nationally and is already tied for the fourth-best total in program history. Augustine also ranks in the top five in the SAC in home runs (11; tied for fourth), walks (33; tied for second), on-base percentage (.503; fourth) and slugging (.721; tied for second). In addition, he leads the Railsplitters in average (.390), hits (60), doubles (14) and stolen bases (10). He has reached base safely at least once in 42 out of 43 games on the year.
- Since beginning the year batting just .118 through his first eight games with a plate appearance, Hunt has hit .427, including a 6-for-6 performance March 11 at Lenoir-Rhyne to set a new program record for hits in a game. He is 11-for-17 over his past four games, which has raised his batting average to .388, which ranks fifth in the SAC.
- Wages took over the team SAC in RBI with 14 in his past five games. Of his 51 total, 30 have come in 21 conference games. This has aided his .516 on-base percentage, which is the second-best mark in the SAC.

His .419 average in SAC play is second in the conference behind Augustine, and the freshman has 26 RBI in 20 conference games. - Anderson's pitching has not fared much better, as its pitching staff ranks only ahead of Brevard in ERA (7.13) and hits allowed. The team has also issued the second-most walks of anyone in the conference after Lenoir-Rhyne.
- Only three Trojan pitchers have an ERA lower than 5.00. John McMicking has a 4.98 ERA and leads the team with 10 games started and 59.2 innings.
