CHARLOTTE, N.C. – The Lady Railsplitters begin the final week of the regular season on Wednesday with a key South Atlantic Conference matchup at Queens.
Lincoln Memorial (9-4, 5-3 SAC) improved to 4-1 over its last five matches and moved into sole possession of fifth place in the SAC standings with a 5-0 drumming of the Coker Cobras in the regular-season home finale on Saturday. Queens (7-5-1, 3-4-1 SAC) is coming off a 2-1 win over Newberry on Saturday. The Royals are hoping to solidify a playoff spot as they enter the week tied for seventh in the SAC.

Jessica Cravero summoned her third hat trick of the season and assisted on two other goals to power the Lady Railsplitters in their 5-0 win over Coker.
Maria Hernandez put LMU on the board in the eighth minute and
Itzel Ballesteros scored just three minutes later to double the Lady Railsplitters' lead. Cravero then tallied in the 19th, 38th and 56th minutes to complete the scoring.
- Cravero – a freshman forward – has put together one of the most impressive seasons by a Lady Railsplitter in recent memory. The Italian is currently ranked third in the SAC in goals (13) and points (30) while accounting for the second-most shots in the league with 61. Her 30 points are the most by an LMU player since Sarah Taylor's 31-point 2010 campaign, while her 13 goals are the most since Heloisa de Oliveira had a program-record 28 in 2007.
- Ballesteros has been nearly Cravero's equal offensively, ranking first in the SAC in assists with eight and fourth in points with 24. The junior striker has also pitched in eight goals – the fourth-highest mark in the league.
- The Lady Railsplitters pitched their seventh shutout of the season in Saturday's landslide win over Coker. Lincoln Memorial now leads the SAC in both shutouts and goals against average with a stingy 0.92 mark, which is the third-lowest goals against average in program history. It's the program's lowest since the 1998 squad finished with a 0.64 GAA.
- With a win on Wednesday, the Lady Railsplitters would move into a tie in the SAC standings with Catawba and Lenoir-Rhyne, who enter the week tied for second place in the league standings. Lincoln Memorial holds the tiebreaker against both Catawba and L-R by securing wins against those teams during the regular season.
- A win on Wednesday would also give LMU its first 10-win season since the 2013 team went 10-8-1 overall and made a trip to the SAC title game.
Know the Opponent
- Leanne Bryant scored in the 85th minute to break a 1-1 stalemate and push the Royals past Newberry on Saturday. Queens dominated the run of play, outshooting the visiting Wolves 22-2.
- Prior to Saturday's win, Queens drew 1-1 with Wingate and suffered a 2-0 loss to Carson-Newman.
- Queens is a middle of the road offensive team, ranking fifth in the league in total goals with 26 and fourth in shots per game with 16.2. The Royals are ranked fifth in the SAC in shots on goal percentage with a .493 clip.
- Daniela Diaz, Charlotte Ring and Lulu Phan have combined for 44 of Queens' 63 points as a team. Diaz and Ring have six goals and three assists apiece, while Phan leads the team with seven goals. Emma Rose Stockton has a goal and three assists, while six other players have chipped in a goal apiece.
- Rachel Quest has played every minute in net for the Royals, accumulating a 1.20 goals against average and a .729 save percentage. She ranks eighth and 10th in the conference in those categories, respectively.
- The Royals have been much better on the road than at home, sporting a 5-2 road record compared to a 2-3-1 mark at Dickson Field.

- The Lady Railsplitters are eyeing some revenge after suffering their worst loss of the
Sean Fraser-era in a 4-0 loss to the Royals last season at the LMU Soccer Complex. Ring scored a goal and assisted on another in the Queens victory.
- LMU is 1-2-2 in the all-time series. The Lady Railsplitters haven't beaten the Royals since earning a 2-0 victory in the first-ever meeting between the two programs in 2013. Since then, the two teams drew in 2014 and 2015, while Queens won 3-1 in the 2016 in Charlotte and 4-0 last season in Harrogate.
