Box Score HARROGATE, Tenn. – The LMU women's tennis team and Bellarmine slugged it out for over four hours Sunday afternoon, but in the end the Knights claimed the 6-3 win in the LMU Indoor Tennis Facility.

LMU falls to 3-1 on the season while Bellarmine, who are ranked ninth in the NCAA Midwest Region, improve to 5-0.

Bellarmine picked up two of the three wins in doubles with their first win coming 8-1 on court one where the regionally ranked duo of Maggie Walroth and Ashley Jonathan overcame LMU's Johanna Delisse and Julia Loos. Kristin Vogel and Kiertsen Waugh picked up LMU's first win over BU's Jennifer Skonieczny and Ava Ratcliff 8-6 on court two. On court three Angelica Solano and Jula Valls went the distance with the Knights' Marissa Kovach and Mairin Cotter before falling in the tiebreaker 9-8 (7-4).

Bellarmine picked up their third point of the match with the straight set singles win on court one as Pinol fell to Walroth 6-2, 7-5. Loos won over Jonathan on court three 7-6, 6-2 while Valls bested Kovach 6-4, 7-5 on court four. Vogel fell to Skonieczny in three sets 3-6, 6-2, 10-8 on court two and Zellner fell in three sets to BU's Ratcliff on court five 3-6, 6-4, 10-7 to give the Knights the match victory. Cotter then defeated LMU's Solano on court six 6-2, 7-6 (9-7) to complete Bellarmine's 6-3 victory.

LMU will host a pair of matches next weekend. First up is Cumberland University next Saturday at 8 a.m., followed by Union College Sunday at 1 p.m..
