HARROGATE, Tenn. – The Lincoln Memorial University baseball team (20-10) resumes its 11-game homestand with a nonconference matchup with Lee (16-14) at 4 p.m. Tuesday at Lamar Hennon Field. The Railsplitters came from behind to walk off Carson-Newman twice over the weekend while Lee enjoyed a home sweep of Auburn Montgomery.

Timmy Wages walked off the Railsplitters to a 12-11 win in game one of Sunday's doubleheader after LMU fell behind 10-1 in the seventh inning. The Railsplitters were down 10-2 before a nine-run bottom of the eighth put the team up 11-10. Carson-Newman tied the score in the top of the ninth, but Wages delivered a 2-2 pitch through the right side on the ninth pitch of his at-bat to drive in the winning run.
Justin Shaw made his first start of the season and finished 4-for-5 with a pair of runs scored and RBI.
Logan Augustine went 3-for-3 with a walk and two RBI.
Joe Stucky also notched three hits while Wages went 2-for-6 with three RBI.

- Adams only went 2-for-11 in the series to fall out of the SAC lead in batting average. He is now seventh at .374. The sophomore shortstop is tied for the conference lead with 14 doubles and is tied for third with 36 runs scored. He has reached base safely in 28 of 29 games.
- Wages has connected for seven of the team's 26 home runs. Augustine (5) and Salvey (3) are the only other Railsplitters with more than two.
