HARROGATE, Tenn. – Lincoln Memorial University's baseball team continues its 10-game homestand when it hosts Kentucky State (6-5) for a nonconference doubleheader Tuesday at Lamar Hennon Field. The Railsplitters (12-6) won their first South Atlantic Conference games of the year over the weekend, 15-1 and 7-6, over Anderson but fell 7-6 in the series finale to move to 2-4 in SAC play. Kentucky State played a pair of home doubleheaders against Salem International over the weekend with each team sweeping one day. The Thorobreds lost 6-0 and 6-1 on Saturday and won 5-4 and 10-6 on Sunday.

- The Railsplitters picked up their first SAC win of the season Friday evening with a 15-1 pounding of Anderson. All nine LMU starters collected at least one hit and took part in at least one run with either an RBI or run scored.
Will Reddick led the Railsplitters with three hits and added a run scored and RBI.
Ethan Elliott set season highs with 11 strikeouts and 7.1 innings pitched.
- Lincoln Memorial took a 6-0 lead in the first game of Saturday's doubleheader and held on to win 7-6. Reddick went 4-for-4 with a home run, three RBI and three runs scored.
Joe Stucky finished 4-for-5 with an RBI and was a home run shy of a cycle.
Mason Ewers added a two-run home run.
Joe Bobiak improved to 4-0 with one earned run allowed in 5.2 innings.

- The Railsplitters again scored first and built a 3-0 lead, but Anderson battled back to take the lead 6-4. LMU scored a pair of runs in the bottom of the seventh to tie the game and force extra innings, but the Trojans plated a run in the eighth and held on to win 7-6. The loss snapped Lincoln Memorial's 16-game home win streak. Reddick and
Tyler Adams each went 2-for-4 for LMU with an RBI and run scored.
Logan Augustine finished 2-for-5 with a pair of RBI and runs scored, including a two-run homer.
- Reddick finished the series 9-for-12 with a home run and five RBI and runs scored to raise his batting average from .235 to .448.
- Augustine had two hits and RBI in two of the three games but had his on-base streaked end at 42 games in the first game of Saturday's doubleheader. Despite going 0-for-5 in that game, Augustine leads all LMU regular starters in batting average (.418), hits (28) and stolen bases (8). He is also tied with Adams for the team lead in runs scored (26).
- Adams is the only Railsplitter to reach base in all 18 games this season and 21 straight dating back to last season. The sophomore shortstop is batting .397 and leads the team in RBI (20), doubles (11) and on-base percentage (.530).
- Lincoln Memorial averages 10.4 runs and 12.6 hits and per game for the season. Those totals increase to 12.7 runs and 14.7 hits at home. The Railsplitters have totaled at least 10 hits in 13 of 18 games.

Timmy Wages has connected for four of the team's 13 home runs. Augustine is the only player (2) with more than one.
- The Railsplitters are 25-for-27 in stolen base attempts this season. Augustine is 8-for-8.
- LMU pitching has been solid for the most part with a cumulative 4.13 ERA. Starting pitchers are a combined 8-1 with a 3.02 ERA.

Notes on Kentucky State:
- The Thorobreds were held to just five total hits—all singles—in Saturday's doubleheader against Salem International as the team lost by scored of 6-0 and 6-1. Jordan Ransom was the only player tally two and went 1-for-3 in each game. Elijah Collins stole three bases in the second game. Kentucky State didn't draw a walk in either game.
- Kentucky State's offense improved Sunday as the team won 5-4 and 10-6. Collins delivered the big hit in game one with a three-run double and also stole two bases. Cameron Starks starred in the second game by going 2-for-3 with a home run, double and four RBI. Adren "Boo" Thompson also homered. Collins stole three more bases.
- Ransom leads the team in hits (12), runs (13), home runs (4) and RBI (14) and doubles (4). He also serves as the team's closer and has three saves and a 4.50 ERA in four appearances.
- Collins was 8-for-8 stealing bases for the weekend and is 9-for-10 overall.
- The Thorobred pitching staff has posted a 5.67 ERA compared to 8.06 for opponents.
- Joe Crisp is 0-3 in three starts with a 12.51 ERA (19 ER in 13.2 innings). The rest of the pitching staff is 6-2 with a 4.25 ERA.

- Lincoln Memorial has dominated the all-time series with a 22-1 record, including a perfect 12-0 in Harrogate.
- The Railsplitters won last year's doubleheader in Harrogate 5-4 and 14-2. LMU overcame a 4-1 deficit to walk off the Thorobreds in the first game.
- Kentucky State's only win was 7-5 in 2015.
