Lady Railsplitters battle Bulldogs in final road test of regular season

WINGATE, N.C. – The Lady Railsplitters will make their final road trip of the regular season on Saturday when they pay Wingate a visit for a South Atlantic Conference doubleheader.

Lincoln Memorial (21-19, 4-10 SAC) split a doubleheader at Mars Hill on Tuesday to remain in a tie for 10th place in the SAC standings, winning a wild game one 16-13 in 10 innings before falling in the nightcap 11-9. Wingate (18-24, 6-8 SAC) is in a tie for eighth place in the league but has won four straight games to create some separation with the two teams it is in front of, LMU and Mars Hill. The Bulldogs most recently swept a doubleheader at Catawba on Wednesday by scores of 4-3 and 4-2.
