HARROGATE, Tenn. – The Lincoln Memorial University baseball team (23-11) concludes its 11-game homestand and puts its 13-game nonconference winning streak on the line with a single nine-inning game against Trevecca Nazarene (12-17) on Tuesday and a doubleheader with Bellarmine (20-8) on Wednesday at Lamar Hennon Field. The Railsplitters won their fourth straight South Atlantic Conference home series by taking two of three over Lenoir-Rhyne over the weekend to improve to 9-9 in league play. Trevecca has dropped seven in a row after losing both ends of its doubleheader at Lake Erie on Saturday. Bellarmine enjoyed a four-game sweep at No. 7 University of Indianapolis over the weekend.

- LMU opened its three-game South Atlantic Conference series against Lenoir-Rhyne with a 12-2 win Friday evening. The Railsplitters scored in all but two innings and outhit the Bears 18-6 with all nine starters recording at least one hit.
Nate Stinson (3-for-3) reached base safely in all five plate appearances with a pair of doubles and walks. The sophomore also scored three times.
Joe Stucky finished 2-for-4 with a career-high four RBI.

Logan Augustine added solo shots to account for all six LMU runs in the team's 6-4 win in in game one of Saturday's doubleheader.

- Lenoir-Rhyne returned the favor to salvage a game in the series by scoring eight unanswered runs in the seven-inning nightcap to down LMU 10-5. Adams put the Railsplitters up 4-1 in the bottom of the first with a grand slam. A one-out
Timmy Wages solo blast in the third accounted for Lincoln Memorial's only other run.
- Adams has homered in four straight games and has batted .461 over that span (6-for-13) with eight RBI and six runs scored. He is tied for the SAC lead with 15 doubles and is also the team leader in runs scored (42), on-base percentage (.507) and slugging percentage (.679).
- Augustine is third in the SAC with a .398 batting average. He leads the team outright in hits (47) and stolen bases (11) and has reached safely in 32 of 34 games on the year.
- Wages has connected for eight of the team's 35 home runs. Adams and Augustine are tied with six apiece while Salvey has hit five.
- Lincoln Memorial averages 8.50 runs and 11.03 hits per game for the season. Those totals increase to 9.64 runs and 12.05 hits at home. The Railsplitters have totaled at least 10 hits in 18 of 34 games overall and 12 of 22 at home.
- The Railsplitters as a team have hit .360 at home compared to .261 on the road. On-base percentage is also nearly 100 percentage points higher (.453-.365) while slugging percentage is nearly 200 points better (.564-.377).
- LMU pitching has been solid for the most part and is second in the SAC with a 4.01 ERA, though the team is fourth with a 4.62 mark in league play.

Notes on Trevecca Nazarene:
- The Trojans dropped a pair of games at Great Midwest Athletic Conference rival Lake Erie in Saturday's doubleheader. Lake Erie hit a walk-off home run in the bottom of the ninth to win the opener 5-3. Sam Mang finished 2-for-5 with an RBI while Tyler Burns went 2-4 with an RBI.
- Lake Erie scored three runs in the first and four more in the second to cruise to an 8-1 win in the second game. Javier Lopez hit a solo home run in the fourth to account for the Trojans' only run.
- Trevecca has lost its last seven games—six of which have come in G-MAC play. The Trojans are 10-8 at home compared to 2-9 on the road.
- Mang entered the Lake Erie series leading the Trojans with a .326 average, nine home runs, 28 RBI, six doubles and .733 slugging percentage.
- The Trojans were only batting .262 as a team entering the Lake Erie series. Tyler Burns (.311) and Ethan Harrison (.304) are the only other two players batting above .280. Harrison leads the Team with 10 stolen bases and is second with five home runs and 18 RBI.
- Trevecca's pitching staff entered the Lake Erie series with a 6.77 ERA. Tyler Koprowski, a reliever, has a 3-0 record and 2.79 ERA in 19.1 innings across nine appearances. No other pitcher has an ERA lower than 4.45.
- Seven different pitchers have made at least one start. Ryan Schultz has been the most consistent starter with a 2-3 record and 4.45 ERA in seven starts. Drew Pierce has also made seven starts but is 0-4 with a 5.26 ERA.

- The Knights swept seventh-ranked Indianapolis on Friday by scores of 5-2 and 9-2 in Great Lakes Valley Conference play. Eddie Mathis tossed eight shutout innings in the opener, and Nagel pitched a complete game in the nightcap. Drew Greenwood hit a pair of doubles in the opener while Alex Phillips drove in two runs. Zac Wiley went 3-for-4 in the second game with a pair of doubles and run scored. Griffin Neuer added a two-run home run.
- Bellarmine completed its four-game series sweep of their top 10 opponent on Saturday by defeating UIndy 9-7 and 11-7. The Knights hit six home runs over the two games, including four in the finale. Bellarmine fell behind 5-0 after four innings in the opener but overcame four UIndy homers to rally for the win. Greenwood went 4-for-5 in the first game while Josh Finerty homered and drove in four. Wiley, Griffin Neuer, Finerty and Chris Gamert homered in the finale and accounted for all 11 RBI.
- The Knights have won 14 of their last 17 games. Bellarmine is 8-7 on the road compared and 12-1 at home.
- Greenwood went 8-for-19 over the weekend to raise his average to .345. He leads the team in hits (41), doubles (10) and stolen bases (3).
- Griffin Neuer leads the team in home runs (8) and RBI (35) and is batting .330. He has only struck out six times in 88 at-bats.
