INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – The Lincoln Memorial men's lacrosse completes its season-opening five-game road trip on Saturday morning with a matchup against the No. 10 nationally-ranked Indianapolis Greyhounds.
The Railsplitters (2-2) are heading right back to the Midwest for another brutal nonconference test after dropping back-to-back games at No. 18 Lindenwood and Maryville last weekend in Missouri, while the Greyhounds (2-0) will be trying to remain unbeaten and build off a massive 10-9 upset win at No. 3 Seton Hill last Saturday.

- A couple lengthy scoring droughts undid the Railsplitters in their 12-8 loss at Maryville. Lincoln Memorial did not score its first goal until the 5:19 mark of the first quarter, which halted a 5-0 opening run for the Saints. The Railsplitters also went scoreless in the third quarter to go into the fourth trailing 10-4.
- Lincoln Memorial never gave up despite the big deficit, as
Kyle Arcuri scored twice and assisted on another goal to power a 4-0 run to start the fourth quarter that cut the deficit to 10-8. However, the Saints scored twice and held LMU without a goal for the final six minutes to secure the win.

Ian Cook led the Railsplitters with two goals and an assist apiece. That trio has now combined for 38 of LMU's 58 points this season. Cook (12 goals, 2 assists) leads the way with 14 points, while Tucker (9 goals, 4 assists) and Arcuri (5 goals, 6 assists) have 13 and 11 points, respectively.

Reggie Golfin is the only other LMU player with more than five points as the redshirt-junior midfielder has six goals.
- The Railsplitters have been outscored by a total margin of 12-6 in the first quarter this season. In every other quarter, Lincoln Memorial has combined to outscore its opponents 37-29, including a 16-9 mark in the fourth.
- LMU is winning 68.4 percent of its face-offs. The Railsplitters have had a clear edge in that department in every game, even producing a 15-8 advantage against nationally-ranked Lindenwood.
Hunter Clark has powered that effort with a 42-for-64 mark this season.

Trenton Cameron has played every second in goal for the Railsplitters, compiling a 10.25 goals against average and a 51.2 save percentage. He has made double-digit saves in three of his four appearances, including a 14-save performance at Lindenwood.

Notes on Indianapolis
- The Greyhounds have been dominant so far in 2019. They opened the season with a 20-8 shellacking of Wheeling Jesuit and followed that up with a stunning overtime win at No. 3 Seton Hill.
- In its win at Seton Hill, Shawn Kimble scored the game-winning goal in overtime to send Indianapolis to victory. Kimble led the Greyhounds with five points on three goals and two assists. His brother, goalkeeper Jarod Kimble, was also a star of the match, making 12 saves while grabbing 10 ground balls to earn GLVC Defensive Player of the Week status.
- Drew Billig paced the Greyhounds in their season-opening win over Wheeling Jesuit with five goals and an assist. Parker Kump added five goals, while Matthew Johnson had two goals and two assists.
- Indianapolis has been rock solid defensively, allowing a meager .266 shot percentage on an average of 32.0 shots per game. Offensively, the Greyhounds are racking up nearly 42 shots per game and converting 36 percent of their shots attempts.
- Kump leads the team with 22 shots, while he and Billig are tied for the team-high mark with 14 shots on goal. Robbie Berardi has accounted for a team-leading 14 ground balls, while Josh Jackson has put up three caused turnovers.
