CHARLOTTE, N.C. – The Lincoln Memorial men's lacrosse team will face its third top-20 nationally-ranked opponent of the 2019 season on Saturday with a trip to Charlotte, N.C., to face the No. 12 Queens Royals in South Atlantic Conference action.
The Railsplitters (2-5, 0-1 SAC) will be trying to pick up their first ranked win since March 2017 and snap a five-game losing streak that dates back to February 16. In its most recent outing, Lincoln Memorial led Coker 7-5 with less than 10 minutes to play, but the Cobras snatched victory from the jaws of defeat by closing on a 5-0 run to win 10-7 in the SAC opener.
Queens (5-1) is coming off a 14-8 upset win at No. 4 Belmont Abbey. The Royals' only loss this season came at the hands of No. 3 Limestone, 10-9, while Queens also has a victory against No. 13 Mount Olive on its resume.

Chris Tucker to power a 3-0 third quarter to take a 7-5 lead into the fourth frame in the SAC opener against Coker last Friday at the Rocky Top Sports World in Gatlinburg, Tenn. However, Ethan Irizarry scored three times to fuel a 5-0 closing run for the Cobras, who escaped with the 10-7 win.

- The Railsplitters have been right in almost every match during their five-game losing streak. In the loss to Alabama-Huntsville, Lincoln Memorial led 4-1 at the end of the first and 12-11 late in the fourth before falling 14-12. The Railsplitters also nearly pulled off a massive comeback and upset in a 9-8 loss at No. 10 Indianapolis, and led No. 18 Lindenwood 4-3 at the half.
- Despite its 2-5 record, Lincoln Memorial has been outscored just 64-63 cumulatively this season.
- Cook remains the team leader in goals (18) and points (24) but has been in a bit of a scoring funk of late. The sophomore attacker has scored just two goals total in his last two appearances, and both of those came against Alabama-Huntsville on February 27.

Robert Tucker and Golfin have been the two most active offensive players for the Railsplitters. Tucker has produced 12 goals and seven assists on a team-high 51 shots and 31 shots on goal, while Golfin has 11 goals and one assist on 47 shots and 27 shots on goal.

Kyle Arcuri leads Lincoln Memorial with eight assists. The senior has also added a goal in back-to-back games to push his season total to seven.

Trenton Cameron made 11 saves in the loss to Coker and now ranks second in the SAC in total stops with 80. The junior has seen his save percentage dip from .571 to .519 during the Railsplitters' five-game skid, which ranks sixth in the SAC.
- Lincoln Memorial has just one ranked win in program history. That victory came against then No. 16 Queens on March 25, 2017 at the LMU Lacrosse Complex. The Railsplitters won that match in resounding fashion, 11-5.
Notes on Queens
- The Royals have been mostly dominant all season. Queens has outscored its opponents 74-45 cumulatively, posted a 12.33 goals for average and 7.5 goals against average, and outshot its opponents 237-211.
- In last Saturday's win at No. 4 Belmont Abbey, the Royals used a 9-1 closing run that started with 1:21 left in the second quarter to take down the Crusaders. Quinn Tallant led the way with four goals and an assist, while Laszlo Henning had three goals. Kealan Pilon added a goal and two assists, while Justin Swick and Jesse Oliver had two goals apiece.
- The Royals own the sixth-best scoring defense in the nation. Queens has allowed double-digit goals only one time and that came in its only loss against No. 3 Limestone, 10-9.
- Four different players have produced at least 11 points for the Royals. Pilon leads the team with 20 points on 10 goals and 10 assists and Tallant has 19 points with a team-high 16 goals. Henning and Swick both have contributed exactly 11 points.
- Kyle Hornik has started all six matches in goal for the Royals, compiling a 7.24 goals against average, which ranks seventh in the nation, and a 65.8 save percentage, which is the second-best mark in the country. Hornik made a season-high 17 saves in the win over Belmont Abbey and has stopped over 68 percent of the shots he's faced in his last two appearances.
- Drew Flack leads the team with 32 ground balls and has gone 64-for-115 at the face-off x. No other Queens player has attempted more than 13 face-offs.
- The Royals are 3-0 in Charlotte this season and have won nine straight home games dating back to March of 2018.

- The Railsplitters and Royals have split the all-time series 2-2.
