AIKEN, S.C. – First pitch of the 2020 season for the Lincoln Memorial University baseball team will have to wait one more day as the Railsplitters' opening weekend series at USC Aiken has been altered due to weather. With heavy rain in Aiken, South Carolina, Friday morning and more forecasted throughout the day, game one of the series between LMU and the Pacers has been moved to 2 p.m. Saturday.
The two teams will then play a doubleheader Sunday beginning at 12 p.m. Both of Sunday's games will be a full nine innings from Roberto Hernandez Stadium.
Following their opening weekend series at USC Aiken, the Railsplitters will take on Claflin University in a single game Monday afternoon. First pitch from historic Mirmow Field in Orangeburg, South Carolina, is slated for 1 p.m.

The Railsplitters are coming off a third-straight NCAA Division II Southeast Regional appearance and a third consecutive 30-win campaign. LMU was the South Atlantic Conference regular season runner-up in 2019, finishing the year with a 34-19 overall record after going 18-6 in league play.
