HARROGATE, Tenn. – A total of 14 Lincoln Memorial University athletic programs are in action this week with a full weekend schedule of events both home and away. It's championship season for the men's and women's indoor track and field teams as the Railsplitters and Lady Railsplitters take on the 2020 South Atlantic Conference Indoor Track & Field Championships in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, Saturday-Sunday, Feb. 29-March 1. Beach volleyball begins its 2020 season over the weekend in Florence, Alabama, at the University of North Alabama's Shoals Beach Bash, while men's and women's basketball close out their regular seasons with a pair of home games against Tusculum Wednesday night at Anderson Saturday afternoon.
Men's and women's golf kicked off the week in Hilton Head, South Carolina, where the Railsplitters took first place at the 2020 Battle for Hilton Head. Baseball, softball, men's and women's lacrosse, men's and women's tennis, and men's volleyball all return to competition.
Throughout 2019-20, LMU athletics will provide a look ahead at the week's calendar of athletic events, both home and away.
