HARROGATE, Tenn. – Lincoln Memorial University baseball fans will have to wait one more day to catch the Railsplitters in action at Lamar Hennon Field as this weekend's home opening series with Ohio Valley University will now be played Saturday and Sunday due to forecasted inclement weather. With forecasted rain and snow for Harrogate Friday and plenty of rain throughout the day Thursday into Thursday night, the two teams will play a single game Saturday at 1 p.m. to begin the three-game non-conference series.
On Sunday, LMU (1-3) will take on the visiting Fighting Scots (0-3) in a doubleheader beginning at 12 p.m. Game one of Sunday afternoon's doubleheader will be played as a full nine-inning contest while game two is slated for seven innings.
