Lady Railsplitters Head To Gaffney To Take On Limestone

Look to stop two-game skid

GAFFNEY, S.C. - Coming off of a road loss to Lenoir-Rhyne, the Lincoln Memorial University women's basketball team (3-3, 2-3 SAC) will take on Limestone (3-5, 3-5) on the road this Wednesday, January 13 inside the Timken Center. The matchup is just the third in program history.

Last Time Out
The Lady Railsplitters took on Lenoir-Rhyne on the road this past Saturday and were unable to get over the hump in the 63-54 loss, despite Jordan Maney's career high 17 points. Lauren Flowers added 14 and transfer guard/forward Mikayla Kuehne had her first double-double in the Blue and Gray with 12 points and 10 rebounds.

Versus The Saints
The Lady Railsplitters have a 1-1 all-time record against Limestone. The teams first met on Nov. 23, 1985 with LMU winning by forfeit and also met early last season, with Limestone coming away with an 81-63 triumph inside the Timiken Center confines. This marks the first South Atlantic Conference matchup between the schools.

About Limestone
Limestone is coached by Corey Fox, who is in his 18th year as the head coach of the program. Prior to becoming the head coach, Fox served as an assistant coach for the men's program. Coming off an 23-8 season that included the 2020 Conference Carolinas Tournament Championship, the team is 3-5 (3-5) so far this year. Reagan Kargo leads the team in scoring as she averages 15.8 points per game, while Reagan McCray averages 14.9 and Quin Byrd is at 14.5. Aaliyah Foxx-Rome leads the team in rebounding with six per contest.

Looking Ahead
