INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – The Lincoln Memorial University men's bowling team placed 9th out of the 28-team field this weekend at the Columbia Western Shootout.
Calumet College of St. Joseph took gold after recording a total pin-fall of 9,159. The Railsplitters finished in ninth, bowling a pin-fall of 8,623 for the weekend.
Freshman
Alex Linnenbrink was the high-finisher for the Railsplitters this weekend in Indianapolis, finishing in sixth-place overall in the individual standings. The newcomer had a total pin-fall of 1,218.
LMU earns a well-deserved two weekends of rest, before traveling to the Bowlero Southern Collegiate Classic. The Blue & Grey will face two-consecutive tournaments on the road, before hosting the annual Lincoln Memorial Collegiate Challenge on Dec. 4 to conclude the 2021 fall slate.
