Baseball’s Midweek Non-Conference Tilt with UVA Wise Moved to Wednesday

Railsplitters to host Cavaliers Wednesday, Feb. 17 at 2 p.m.

HARROGATE, Tenn. – Due to forecasted below freezing temperatures and the chance of wintry precipitation Monday night, Tuesday's Lincoln Memorial University baseball game versus UVA Wise has been moved to Wednesday, Feb. 17. First pitch of the non-conference matchup is scheduled for 2 p.m. at Lamar Hennon Field.

The Railsplitters (0-1) opened up their 2021 campaign Friday night with a thrilling 10-inning affair against eighth-ranked Catawba. A three RBI double in the 10th by the visiting Indians prevented LMU's upset bid after the Railsplitters held a 7-6 lead heading into the ninth.

Wednesday's game will be the Cavaliers' season opener.
