NASHVILLE, Tenn. – For the fifth-consecutive year, the Lincoln Memorial University women's bowling team has been recognized by the National Tenpin Coaches Association (NTCA) for its stellar performance in the classroom.
The National Tenpin Coaches Association recognizes NCAA bowling teams that excel academically each year. Programs must have a cumulative team GPA of a 3.2 or higher for the academic school year. For the 2020-21 academic year, a record 59 bowling programs achieved a cumulative team GPA of 3.2 or higher, and the Lady Railsplitters boasted a 3.42 GPA as a team.
In addition, the NTCA also recognizes student-athletes who have excelled in the classroom throughout the academic year. This year there are 385 honorees, representing NCAA bowling programs at 63 schools. A student-athlete must have a cumulative GPA of 3.4 or higher for the academic school year to qualify for this award. A total of eight current and former LMU women's bowlers earned individual 2020-21 NTCA All-Academic honors.

Bekah LaBuda (Exercise Science).
