Three Lauded As Srixon/Cleveland Golf All-America Scholars

Bradbury, Harries, and Lord honored by the Golf Coaches Association of America

NORMAN, Okla. — Srixon/Cleveland Golf All-America Scholars for NCAA Divisions I, II, III NAIA, and NJCAA have been announced by the GCAA, and three former and current Lincoln Memorial University men's golfers have been declared as All-American scholars. Former Railsplitter Dan Bradbury, senior Luke Harries and rising junior Harry Lord received academic honors last Friday.
 
To be eligible for Srixon/Cleveland Golf All-America Scholar status, an individual must be a sophomore, junior or senior both academically and athletically in NCAA Division I, II, III, and NAIA, or receiving their associate degree and in their last year of athletic eligibility in the NJCAA.
 
In addition, honorees must participate in 40-percent of his team's competitive rounds, have a stroke-average under 76.0 in NCAA Division I, under 78.0 in NCAA Division II, under 79.0 in NCAA Division III, under 78.0 in NAIA, and under 77.0 in NJCAA and maintain a minimum cumulative career grade-point average of 3.2.
 
Yorkshire native Dan Bradbury receives one final academic honor for his historic career in Harrogate, after receiving the South Atlantic Conference Scholar-Athlete of the Year this past spring, in addition to being named Academic All-District by CoSIDA.
 
Senior Luke Harries receives the second academic honor of his Railsplitter career following being named Academic All-District by CoSIDA this summer. Rising junior Harry Lord earned his first academic honor of his collegiate career for his efforts in the classroom this past spring. Both the Welshman and Englishman received all conference honors on the course, as Lord was named to first team All-SAC, while Harries collected second-team all-conference honors.
