HARAHAN, La. – The Lincoln Memorial women's bowling team completed the season-opening Colonial Lanes Classic with a ninth place finish on Sunday at Colonial Lanes.

The Lady Railsplitters wrapped up the weekend with a 5-5 record, collecting wins over Southern, Florida A&M, Alabama A&M, UAB and Alabama State, posting an average score of 180.3 points per game.

Madison Ferguson led Lincoln Memorial and finished sixth overall individually by tallying a 206.80 average across five games.
Michaela Clardy (181.00) and
Haley Powell (178.20) were the next two highest scoring Railsplitters who bowled five games, finishing 31
st and 36
th, respectively, in the field.

Maryland-Eastern Shore won the invitational after averaging 201.4 and going 9-0. Their leading scorer Elizabeth Ross also topped the field individually with a 226.20 average.
