Harry Cooke has been named to the D2CCA Men's Soccer All-Southeast Region First Team, the Division II Conference Commissioners Association announced Tuesday.
 
The honor follows South Atlantic Conference Offensive Player of the Year and Freshman of the Year accolades the forward from Market Drayton, England picked up following the conclusion of the regular season.
 
Cooke led the SAC in total goals (15), goals per game (0.94), total points (31), points per game (1.94) and game-winning goals (four) for the Player of the Year and Freshman of the Year honors to wrap up a dynamic debut season.
 
The rookie led the Railsplitters to a 10-8-1 record and appearance in the SAC Tournament title game, making for an eight-win improvement from 2021 in head coach Dale Parker's first season leading the team.
 
Cooke was one of only two freshmen on the All-Southeast Region First Team, joining Wingate's goalkeeper Aleksa Janjic. He will now be up for a vote on the All-America Team ballot.

The Division II Conference Commissioners Association (D2CCA) encourages and promotes Division II athletics and high standards of sportsmanship as important elements of higher education. The CCA is a key communications link among the conferences as they discuss views, policies and regulations that impact Division II intercollegiate athletics and works closely with the NCAA as a communications channel to NCAA Division II member colleges and universities.
