Head coach Justin Haywood and the Lincoln Memorial baseball team have announced their 2023 schedule.
 
The slate begins with a three-game series against Cedarville at Lamar Hennon Field on Feb. 3 and 4. The following week, the Railsplitters will play their first road games of the regular season, first at Lee in a midweek in-state matchup on Feb. 8, then a roadtrip to Lander for a three-game set from Feb. 10-12 in South Carolina.
 
Other series in the opening month of the season include playing Trevecca Nazarene (Feb. 17-18) in Nashville, Tenn., and hosting Wheeling (Feb. 24-26). A Tuesday game at Erskine (Feb. 21) is sandwiched between those three-game sets.
 
March's slate is highlighted by the South Atlantic Conference opener against Catawba on the 3^rd and 4^th of the month. Other league series include roadtrips to Wingate (10-11) and Anderson (17-18) and a battle with Tusculum in Harrogate (24-25). The Railsplitters will host Lee (March 8) and Young Harris (March 22) and travel to North Greenville (March 20) and North Georgia (March 29) for midweek games.
 
The calendar flips with a road series at Carson-Newman on March 31 and April 1 before SAC matchups against Coker (April 7-8) and at UVA Wise (April 14-15). Lincoln Memorial will host Kentucky State on the 18^th and play at Young Harris on the 19^th before concluding the regular season at Emory & Henry on April 21-22.
 
The schedule is subject to change, as the Railsplitters have a few slots open for midweek games. Please contact the coaching staff if you know of a team interested in playing on one of the open dates.
