No. 21 Women's Bowling Led by Anschutz Yet Again in North Carolina

GREENSBORO, N.C. – The No. 21-ranked Lincoln Memorial University women's bowling team completed their fourth-consecutive tournament weekend of the spring championship schedule at the Vernell Stallings Invitational, finishing in eighth-place on the weekend collectively. Sophomore Cassidy Anschutz continued her strong form for the Lady Railsplitters, adding yet another top-10 individual finish.
 
LMU compiled a 6-4 tournament record throughout the three-day event, falling to the University of Maryland-Eastern Shore in the consolation round's seventh-place matchup in six frames.
 
Fresh off being crowned the individual champion at the Mid-Winter Invitational and receiving Conference Carolinas' Player of the Week honors, sophomore Cassidy Anschutz was hot on the lanes yet again, leading the Blue & Grey all weekend. The New York native finished in tenth individually with a total pinfall of 1,047, equaling a game-average of 209.4.
