"Overall, it was a competitive weekend," said coach
Lucy Pennington-Russell. "Going to the SAC tournament is always a battle. We saw a lot of competitive and high-level teams. I think we came in with a competitive mindset. Last weekend we had to adapt to a lot of weather changes, and this weekend was no different. The biggest example of that was our 5-0 sweep over Catawba with high winds, hail, and snow. I think the win against Catawba was the most impactful game for our team because we were able to tap into everything that we worked hard to accomplish this season and leave it all on the court against Catawba."
