Harrogate, TN – The Lincoln Memorial Women's bowling team traveled to Valparaiso, Indiana this weekend for their season opener. The Railsplitters went 7-5 and made heavy strides in the opening tournament. The team finished in 7
th out of 17 teams. Head coach Olivia Farwell brings home her first win as head coach against a highly competitive #9 Maryville. The Railsplitters also beat another ranked competitor, #14 McKendree in the traditional matches on Saturday.

Haley Powell, was named Tournament MVP and bowled the top score of 1,101. Powell averaged 220 pins in 5 games and out-bowled her competitors by an exceeding 88 pins.
The Lady Railsplitters will travel to Sam Houston State University for the Kat Klash Tournament on November 3
