Harrogate, TN- Lincoln Memorial Women's bowling will be back in action Woodbridge, Va., this weekend to compete in Maryland Eastern Shore's Hawk Classic. The Railsplitters have bowled in this tournament since 2017 where they won their first baker matchup to Fairview Heights 906-852.

The Lady Railsplitters started their season strong, beating #1 Maryville and #3 McKendree in the opening tournament. Haley Powell outperformed every bowler that weekend, bringing home tournament MVP.  The Railsplitters look to improve and find some success in the upcoming Hawk Classic. The three-day tournament at Bowl America Woodbridge will begin on Friday and will extend to Sunday.

Of the 22 teams participating in the Hawk Classic, 17 were ranked in the NTCA's preseason top 25:

There will be five Baker matches on Friday beginning at 9:55 a.m. (ET), and total pinfall will determine the winners of each head-to-head match. Five traditional matches will follow on Saturday starting at 9:55 a.m. (ET) with pinfall again determining the winners. One more traditional match will begin Sunday's action at 8:25 a.m., and the total pins from the first 11 matches of the tournament will determine seeding for two matches of bracket play on Sunday. The bracket matches will be contested in a best-of-seven Baker play.
