Harrogate, TN – The Lady Railsplitters faced Lees-McRae this evening on their home indoor courts. Lincoln Memorial won the match, 4-3. LMU is now 4-3 overall.
Doubles was a crucial point and the Lady Railsplitters were able to take after getting the win at doubles 1 with
Sophia Aray and
Amanda Dahlstrom followed by a very close win at number 2 where
Rosalie Carrier-Dulac and
Kushi Khandoji overcame the duo of Yang/Vedia by 7-5 in the tiebreak.

In singles action, Amanda got the second team point with another great performance at number 3 singles in straight sets. With a loss at number 5,
Sophia Aray was able to close out the match in two sets giving the home team a 3-1 lead. However, the visitors tied the match to 3-3 with wins at 2 and 6 singles leaving the deciding point to the number 4 singles, where sophomore
Kushi Khandoji ended up clinching a win in the third set for LMU with the score of 6-4 4-6 6-4, in a great battle.
