Men's Lacrosse to Honor Jacka, Cisko, Kot, and Sullivan for Senior Day

Men's Lacrosse will take on the #20 ranked Anderson University Trojans Saturday, April 22nd.  Before the game, they will celebrate their four seniors – Trey Jacka, Gunner Cisko, Captain Jordan Sullivan, and Captain Hunter Kot.

About the Seniors…
 
Trey Jacka is a graduate student from Birmingham, Ala.  He is a defender who transferred from Aurora University in Illinois.  While at Aurora, he played in 16 games total, had eight ground balls, and eight caused turnovers.  
 
Here at LMU, he has played in five games and had one caused turnover. 
 
"Trey has all the qualities a coach could ask for in a player," says Coach Wilson.  "A constant determination to improve, the ability to think quickly, and a calming but powerful presence in the locker room. I've never seen Trey not smile. His relaxed approach to tasks is enviable, and he will no doubt do incredible things in his career.

 Gunner Cisko is also a graduate student from Greeneville, SC.  He is a midfielder who transferred from Newberry College.  While at Newberry, he played in 20 games total, had one goal, two assists, and six ground balls.  
 
Here at LMU, he has played in 12 games, having three goals with 13 shots and nine shots on goal.  His goals were against Young Harris, Emmanuel, and Mars Hill.  
 
He will be graduating with a master's in biomedical science.

 Hunter Kot is a Redshirt-Junior from Oconomowoc, Wisc.  He has been at LMU all four years.  While here at LMU (2020-2023), he has played 40 games, with one start.  He has 21 goals, eight of which are man-up opportunity goals.  He has 16 assists, along with 16 ground balls.  
 
Currently, he serves as one of the four captains of the team.  He has played in 14 games at midfield and has nine goals and seven assists.  His highest-scoring game was three goals against Emmanuel College (2/25/23).  He has had a goal in Lees-McRae, Maryville, Lander, Chowan, Tusculum, and Lenoir-Rhyne. 
 
He will be graduating with a BS in Criminal Justice and Criminology.

Jordan Sullivan has been at LMU for five years.  He is originally from Frisco, Texas.  He has been one of the Railsplitters top defenders since he has been on the team. 
 
While at LMU (2019-2023), he has played in and started in all 59 games.  Having a total of 196 ground balls and causing 125 ground balls.  He has also notched in four goals and has seven assists. He is also one of the four team captains for the year.   His single-game highs are – eight ground balls against Newberry (4/17/21) and six caused turnovers against Lenoir-Rhyne (4/9/21).  He is fourth in single-season records for ground balls, with 66 in 2022.  He is first in caused turnovers with 40, also in 2022.  He still holds a record at fifth for 22 caused turnovers in 2021.  In caused turnovers per game, he stands first and second with 2.44 in 2021 in nine games and 2.35 in 2022 in 17 games.  He is also tied for first with man-down goals at one in 2019.

This year, he is third on the team with 56 ground balls and leads with 39 caused turnovers. 
 
He will graduate with a bachelor's in business administration and is working towards his MBA.
