SCOUTING COLUMBUS STATE
The Cougars enter the regional at 44-14 (24-3 Peach Belt), tying for first in the regular season with North Georgia but falling to the NightHawks in the tournament championship series. Â
Another dangerous offensive attack, the NightHawks have scored the most runs in Division II this year (475) and collected the most hits (594) while ranking fourth nationally in both runs per game (7.92) and batting average (.363). Sophie Mooney paces North Georgia with 84 hits and a .438 batting average while Hannah Forehand has notched 17 home runs and 72 RBI so far.

Â
King is notorious for being hit by pitches (56, fourth in Division II), while being a productive offense scoring the 30th most runs nationally (323). Junior outfielder Jessica Campbell's 87 hits and 138 total bases are second and sixth nationally, respectively.
