Augusta, GA – The LMU Men's Golf team finished 9
th this weekend at the Bearcat Fall Invitational hosted by Lander University. The men shot an 872 (+8) as a team. The tournament was played at the Forest Hills Golf Club in Augusta, GA.
North Georgia, with a 842 (-22), won the tournament followed by Columbus State who shot 851 (-13) and USC-Aiken at 856 (-8).
LMU was led by
Alex James who was tied for 10th at -6 after 4-under final round. James ended with a 210 (72-70-68).
Max Reynolds was tied for 18th place shooting -4 for the tournament at 212 (70-69-73). Individual
Ian Taggart was +7 for the two days with a 223 (73-75-75).
Jamie Dean shot a 225 (71-77-77) and ended T68 followed by
Alexei Butchart and
Loic Naas who shot 226 and were T71.
The Railsplitters are headed to the Chattahoochee Golf Club in Gainsville, GA, for the UNG Mizuno Intercollegiate. They will play on Monday and Tuesday, September 18-19.
