Toccoa, GA - The Women's Golf team wrapped up their season playing the Ralph Hayes Toyota DII Elite Invitational at The Currahee Club. The team finished in 8th place with a score of (+35) 301-307-291-899.
The first-place winner of the tournament was Anderson University at (-4) 295-275-290-860. In second place would be Lynn University with a score of (+3) 296-281-290-867. Taking the third-place win would be Wingate University finishing with a score of (+9) 296-281-296-873.
Landing themselves in the top five would be
Rachel Mathieson. Mathieson finished in 4th place with a score of (-2) 73-72-69-214. Next, would be
Dilyara Bulambayeva and she finished the tournament in tied for 33rd place at (+9) 74-78-73-225. Following Bulambayeva would be
Sloane Siebert with a 48th place finish at (+13) 78-75-76-229.

Joy Aspetaki, finished her Freshman Fall season in tied for 66th place with a score of (+24) 76-82-82-240. Just behind Aspetaki was Mille Russell in tied for 70th place at (+28) 87-84-73-244.
The LMU Women's Golf team played a great Fall season playing consistently and even winning second place at the St. Simons Intercollegiate. On top of this, the Lady Splitters broke a school record of being ranked 22nd in the nation according to the NCAA DII Women's Golf Rankings Poll, this marks a historical event in LMU.
