RICHMOND, KY - The Lincoln Memorial University women's golf team finished fourth at the Findlay Spring Invitational after Tuesday's third round was canceled due to weather, leaving the event to be decided at 36 holes at Boone's Trace National Golf Club.
LMU (ranked No. 23) opened the tournament with a strong 300 (+12) in round one, but couldn't maintain the momentum in round two as conditions continued to worsen, posting 321 (+33) to finish at 621 (+45) overall. Host Findlay (No. 4) claimed the team title at 609 (+33), edging Grand Valley State (611, +35), while Missouri–St. Louis rounded out the top three at 619 (+43).
Individually, the Railsplitters had three players finish in a tight cluster near the top of the leaderboard. Dilyara Bulambayeva, Millie Russell, and Joy Aspetaki all tied for 11th at 155 (+11). Bulambayeva and Aspetaki each carded 75–80, while Russell opened with a team-best 72 before finishing 83 in round two. Ruby McLellan added another solid week for LMU, tying for 14th at 157 (+13) with rounds of 78–79, and Sadhbh Bullock finished T-51 at 167 (+23) (85–82). Competing as an individual, Reese Rexroat placed T-23 at 159 (+15) with rounds of 80–79.
The tournament's individual title was shared, as Findlay's Avery Thompson and Missouri–St. Louis' Mayan Covarrubias finished tied for first at 148 (+4).
Lincoln Memorial will return to action March 30–31 at the 2026 Grand Harbor Classic in Greenwood, S.C. at The Patriot Golf Course at Grand Harbor.
