MONROE, NC – The Lincoln Memorial University women's golf team wrapped up play at the Jerry Surratt Memorial Intercollegiate (Mar. 9–10) with an 11th-place finish, posting a three-round total of 909 (+45) at Stonebridge Golf Club (302–304–303) in a field loaded with national contenders.
Host Wingate captured the team title at 854 (–10), followed by DBU in second at 870 (+6) and Findlay in third at 880 (+16). Anderson (SC) (883, +19) and Lee (884, +20) rounded out the top five.
Individually, Millie Russell led the Railsplitters, finishing T-22 at 222 (+6) with rounds of 75–71–76. Joy Aspetaki followed close behind in T-38 at 227 (+11) (76–76–75), while Dilyara Bulambayeva added a steady week in T-41 at 228 (+12) (73–79–76). Ruby McLellan finished T-59 at 233 (+17) (78–79–76), and Reese Rexroat closed T-70 at 239 (+23) with rounds of 78–78–83.
Lincoln Memorial continues its spring slate March 16–17 at the Findlay Spring Invite in Richmond, Ky., hosted at Boone's Trace National Golf Club.
