Harrogate, TN- Lincoln Memorial Softball will host their second invitational tournament this weekend, February 17th and 18th, at Dorothy Neely Field. The LMU Invitational will host three other schools in Grand Valley State University, Lock Haven, and Ohio Dominican. LMU will play their games on Saturday, the 17th, against Grand Valley State University at 3 PM and against Lock Haven at 5 PM. Sunday's slate will include LMU facing Lock Haven again at 1 PM with a game against Ohio Dominican at 5 PM. 

The 4-6 Lady Splitters are led currently by second baseman Reese Vivrette, who is hitting .500 on the season so far with a 1.205 OPS, 15 hits, .600 SLG%, and .605 OB%. Sterre den Duijn continues to be a key contributor as well, posting a 1.021 OPS so far with six runs batted in already. Pitcher Margot van Eijl has also made an immediate impact, currently holding a 1.27 WHIP through 30 innings pitched with a .241 batting average against and 21 strikeouts. 

The visitors in Grand Valley State and Lock Haven will see their first game action of the 2024 season at the Invitational. Ohio Dominican will return to Harrogate for the second time this season, with the first visit resulting in a 8-3 victory over the host Lincoln Memorial and a 3-1 record to start the year.
