Harrogate, TN- Softball will host three schools this weekend, February 23rd through February 25th, as part of their third tournament of the 2024 season in Abe's Invitational. The three schools making the trip to Harrogate will include Saginaw Valley State, Clarion, and Bloomsburg. Lincoln Memorial seeks one more win in order to mark the milestone of 200 wins for head coach Ritchie Richardson.

The first slate of softball action will take place on Friday, February 23rd, where LMU will face Saginaw Valley State in a doubleheader slated to begin at 1 PM and 3 PM. This weekend will be the first action for the Lady Cardinals in action this season. This will mark the first meeting between the two programs in their history. Reese Vivrette continues to lead the team in batting average, hitting .457 on the season so far with a 1.155 OPS on 21 hits alongside eight RBIs. Madison Henry and Sterre den Duijn also continue to be key contributors, both hitting over .370 with 17 and 16 hits, respectively. 

Saturday will feature two games with LMU. The Railsplitters will face Clarion at 2 PM and follow with Bloomsburg at 4 PM. Sunday will follow the same times, with the 2 PM game taking place against Saginaw Valley State and the 4 PM against Clarion. This will also be the first action for Clarion on the season as well as the first meeting between the two schools. Bloomsburg is currently 2-0 on the season and Saturday will mark the fourth meeting between the Huskies and the Lady Splitters.
