Harrogate, TN - The Lincoln Memorial men's lacrosse team is off to a great start to the season, earning a 2-0 record with wins over Chowan and Virginia State. The Railsplitters are set to take on the University of Alabama-Huntsville Chargers at a neutral site, Knox Catholic, on Saturday.
The Railsplitters are outscoring opponents 40-13 so far this season. Speedster
Daniel Pearl leads the team in overall points (13) with five goals and a team-leading eight assists. He is followed by
Rhodes Conroy and
Cole Morris with seven points each. Conroy is the team's leading goal scorer with six on the season. He also has an assist. Morris has tallied five goals and two assists thus far on the season.
Gavin Reid has been nearly unstoppable from any spot on the field, firing laser beams from everywhere. So far on the season, he's tallied five goals. Teammates
Francis O'Hara and
Alex Winters also have five total points on the season so far; O'Hara with three goals and two assists, Winters with one goal and four dimes.
Jenson Jones has tallied four points on the year with four goals and an assist.
Kevin Jendrasik and
Ashton Wilson have three points apiece on the year; Jendrasik with three goals, and Wilson with a goal and two assists.
Quinn Hepler and
Nick Spooner have chipped in two points each, with each scoring a pair of goals on the season.
Jordan Castro,
Noah Fell Ranshaw,
Caleb Raydo, and
Jack Snider have added one goal each, and
Tanner Cave has tallied an assist on the season.
