Harrogate, TN- LMU softball will head to Mars Hill, NC to take on the Mountain Lions for a 1 PM and 3 PM doubleheader at Ponder Field. The team currently sits at 17-13 (4-2) on the season. 

LMU's Margot van Eijl was recently dubbed Juice Spot Railsplitter of the week for her 1.47 ERA, 0.91 WHIP, 13 K performance over the previous week in the team's split against Tusculum and sweep over Emory & Henry. The bats have been hot for the Lady Railsplitters recently, scoring 53 runs in their last five games, including an impressive 21-run showing in the most recent victory over Emory & Henry. Reese Vivrette has been the leader in batting statistics, and continues to lead the team with her consistency, currently hitting .438 with a 1.115 OPS. Sterre den Duijn and Katy Pozzuto sit tied for the RBI column leader, both with 25 RBIs on the season. The two have also combined for 25 extra base hits on the year. 

Mars Hill has recently been swept by SAC opponents Emory & Henry, Catawba, and Carson-Newman in their most recent action on the diamond. MHU is currently 9-15 (0-6) on the season. They are hitting .285 so far, with a .407 on-base percentage and a .491 slugging percentage as a team. Their pitching staff has a combined 5.86 ERA and 2.14 WHIP thus far, only posting one shutout on the year. The teams are no stranger to one another, Lincoln Memorial holding the edge in the series between the two programs.
