Harrogate, TN- The Lincoln Memorial University women's tennis team lost in SAC play earlier today against Tusculum.  

The Pionners were able to grab the doubles point in wins on court two and three. Adriana Pellizzari and Tania Sfilio were able to secure the lone win in doubles on court one. The duo fought hard in a 6-2 victory. 

On the singles courts, Rosalie Carrier-Dulac took on Elodie Baechler on court one. The pair rallied each other back and forth until Baechler gained victory in a 1¹⁴- 12 fashion.  

Carla Ramonet faced Tusculum's Ylva Frafjord Landa on court three. Ramonet was able to sweep her competitor in the first rally 6-0. However, Frafjord Landa fought back to cause a third set. The pair battled in a 1¹⁰-6 showdown, where Tusculum took the point. 

Mar Garcia Bucosa battled on court five against Thilda Danielsson. Bucosa ticked the lobe point of the day against her competitor in a tight match-up 8⁷-7⁵.
