Harrogate, TN, the Lincoln Memorial Women's tennis team clashed with Catawba College in an afternoon matchup, ultimately succumbing to a 1-6 defeat. 

This setback places the lady Railsplitters at the midway point of their South Atlantic Conference regular season with a record of 1-5, highlighting the challenges they face as they strive for success in conference play. 

In the #1 Doubles match, LMU's Carla Ramonet and Mar Garcia Bucosa faced a tough challenge against Catawba's A. Miya and R. Igarashi, ultimately falling short with a score of 6-2. 

The #2 Doubles match was a closely contested affair, with LMU's Adriana Pellizzari and Rosalie Carrier-Dulac battling hard against Catawba's V. Poliakova and S. Hernandez. Despite their efforts, LMU narrowly lost with scores of 7-6 and 7-5. 

In the #3 Doubles match, LMU's Haley White and Lucie Palud fought valiantly against T. Gomes and I. Zivkovic, but were unable to secure the win, ultimately losing with a score of 6-3. 

In a challenging #1 Singles match, Rosalie Carrier-Dulac from LMU faced tough opposition from A. Miya of Catawba College, ultimately conceding defeat with scores of 6-2, 6-3. 

In a gripping #2 Singles match, LMU's Adriana Pellizzari displayed remarkable determination, overcoming Catawba's I. Zivkovic in a thrilling contest. After narrowly losing the first set 5-7, Pellizzari fought back strongly, claiming the second set 6-3. In a tense deciding tiebreaker, she secured victory with a score of 11-9. Pellizzari's resilient performance earned the lone point for LMU. 

Despite a valiant effort, Carla Ramonet couldn't overcome V. Venkatesh from Catawba College in the #3 Singles match, with scores of 6-2, 6-2. 

In the #4 Singles, LMU's Mar Garcia Bucosa faced a tough challenge against V. Poliakova, ultimately falling short with a score of 8-3. 

LMU's Sophia Aray couldn't find an answer to S. Hernandez's in the #5 Singles match, with scores of 6-1, 6-1. 

In the #6 Singles showdown against R. Igarashi from Catawba College, LMU's Haley White showcased remarkable tenacity and skill. Despite a valiant effort, White faced a tough challenge, ultimately conceding the match with a scoreline of 8-3
