Las Vegas, NV- Lincoln Memorial men's golf takes the team victory at the Las Vegas Desert Classic in Las Vegas, Nevada this week, hosted by The University of Missouri- St. Louis. LMU took first with a 26-under 838 (
276-289-273) through three rounds.Â
Four golfers would finish under par in the tournament. The Splitters were led by
George Durkan, who finished tied for fourth with his rounds of 67-73-67 (-9).
Loic Naas would also have an impressive outing, finishing tied for sixth at -7 (70-72-67).
Max Reynolds' rounds of 68-73-71 would be good for a tie in 13th place.
Jamie Dean would also snag a Top 20 finish, shooting two-under collectively through his 75-71-68 rounds.
Alex James would finish tied for 34th, with rounds of 71-75-72.Â
The win marks the second of the 2023-24 season for the Railsplitters. The #2 ranked squad will be back in action on Monday, March 11th, for the opening round of the Southeastern Collegiate at Kinderlou Forest in Valdosta, GA.Â
