Harrogate, TN- LMU Softball will travel to Frankfort, KY to take on Kentucky State on Tuesday, April 22nd, for a 1 PM/3 PM doubleheader.
LMU is 24-24 (11-13) on the season, most recently dropping a series to nationally ranked Wingate to round out SAC play on the year. LMU was just named the #7 seed in the upcoming SAC Conference Tournament.
Reese Vivrette continues to be a source of consistency, hitting .472 on the year with a 1.184 OPS.

Sterre den Duijn also continue to be key offensively, all three hitting over .300 on the year.
Katy Pozzuto leads the team in RBI with 40 and in extra-base hits with 20 on the season. The team continues to rely on their on-base percentage, their .445 being tied for first in the country. LMU will look to
Margot van Eijl on the mound, coming off a solid performance in their most recent series over a top-scoring offense in Wingate.Â
Kentucky State is 16-20 on the season, going 8-12 in the SIAC. They hit .285 with a .389 slugging percentage and .358 on-base percentage. Their pitching staff holds a 5.64 ERA and 1.76 WHIP, collectively. The two teams are fairly new opponents, their first meeting occurring last year, where LMU took the series.Â
