Harrogate, TN- #7 Lincoln Memorial will travel to Anderson, SC for their first action in the SAC Softball Championship this Friday, April 25th, starting at 1 PM against #2 Anderson. The tournament is formatted in two, four-team double-elimination brackets, hosted by #1 Wingate and #2 Anderson. The winners of both brackets will face off in their championship series next weekend. 

Lincoln Memorial is 26-24 (11-13), most recently rounding out their regular season play with a sweep over Kentucky State earlier this week. LMU's Reese Vivrette leads the conference in batting average (.476) and on-base percentage (.601). Five other Splitters are also batting over .300 in Madison Henry, Anna Kate Reichter, Katy Pozzuto, Nicole Couvertiere, and Sterre den Duijn. As a team, LMU is hitting .314 with a .447 on-base percentage and .437 slugging percentage, the on-base percentage good for best in the country. 

The two-seed in Anderson will be LMU's first matchup. Earlier this season, Anderson took the series between the two teams by scores of 0-5 and 1-7. Anderson is currently sitting at 30-14 (19-3) on the season, hitting .299 as a team with a .389 on-base percentage and a .488 slugging percentage.
