McCormick, SC- The Lincoln Memorial University Women's Golf team finished up their second tournament of the fall at the Savannah Lakes Invitational hosted at the Monticello Golf Club. The Women finished 6th place with a score of (+39), 301-299-303-903.
Taking first place at the Invitational was Lee University at (+11) 292-291-292-875. The runner up was the University of North Georgia finishing with a score of (+18) 302-289-291-882. Landing themselves in third place was Lander University at (+27) 304-293-294-891.
Leading the Railsplitters in their 6th place title was
Dilyara Bulambayeva and
Sloane Siebert. Both women tied for 20th place.
Dilyara Bulambayeva had a score of (+9) 77-70-78-225, and
Sloane Siebert had a score of (+9) 73-76-76-225.
The freshmen, Joy Apetaki and
Sadhbh Bullock, finished in T-28th and 36th place. Joy Apetaki finished at (+12) 77-79-72-228, and
Sadhbh Bullocked finished with a score of (+15) 74-80-77-231.
Rachel Mathieson closed the tournament placing tied for 39th place at (+17) 81-74-78-233.
The LMU Women's Golf team will be back on the road October 7-8 at the LeeAnne Noble Memorial tournament in Dahlonega,GA at the Achasta Golf Club.
