HARROGATE Tenn. - The Lady Railsplitters will kick off their season at home this Friday, January 31st, with a 2:00 pm match against Union College at the indoor facilities. Last season the Bulldogs beat the Lady Railsplttiers 3-4. 

The team will also compete in a doubleheader on February 1st, starting at 10:00 am against Johnson University and then facing Georgetown College at 4:00 pm. This will be the first meeting between Johnson University and LMU. As for Georgetown College, it will be the first time the two teams have matched up since 2016 where LMU came out on top 7-2. They will wrap up their home opener on February 2nd with a 10:00 am match against the University of North Georgia. Last season UNG took down the Lady Railsplitters 0-7.

The Splitters are looking strong going into their season with Adriana Pellizzari being nominated for second team singles and doubles for the SAC, and Carla Ramonet for second team doubles. Overall, the team is standing in the top 10 for the SAC Preseason Coaches' Poll.
